The following is a list of publications on International Humanitarian Law produced by the Program. Reflecting the Program’s innovative approach to addressing emerging challenges in the field, the list includes a wide array of topics written by academic and operational authorities. These publications encompass critical legal examination, policy analysis, targeted summaries and practical analysis on key challenges to IHL, as well as more detailed and exhaustive treatment of pertinent issues.
Legal and policy briefs, journal articles, and conference reports, as well as background and working papers, seek to illuminate new topics of debate and are frequently prepared for conferences, workshops, and other events. In addition, HPCR’s Occasional Paper Series, launched in 2004, features original contributions on current issues in international humanitarian law.
